At Ollie’s Kids, our mission is to empower and uplift families experiencing homelessness by providing enriching summer camps and comprehensive child and family programs. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow, fostering a sense of community, resilience, and hope. Through our initiatives, we strive to improve the lives of the families we serve, offering opportunities for joy, development, and a brighter future.
About
For many families and children, the struggle to find affordable housing, their next meal, and basic needs is a serious challenge. For children, this challenge often precludes them from participating in programs designed to foster their growth and development and inspire them. Ollies Kids takes 30 years of summer camp and after-school experience in the for-profit world at Kidventure and uses that experience to provide excellent programming with purpose and intentionality.
At Ollies Kids, we focus on enriching the lives of families through our dynamic summer camps and enriching family programs. Our goal is to create opportunities for happiness, personal growth, and a hopeful future for every family we support.

All children deserve the opportunity to be a child, to play, grow, and thrive without worrying about their next meal or if they will have a roof over their heads. Your donations help Ollie’s Kids bring children and families experiencing homelessness off the streets and into camps and other programs to provide shelter, meals, activity, and hope. In addition, donations provide essential items such as shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and clothing so these families can enter the school year better prepared. All donations are tax-deductible. A donation receipt letter is available for your tax purposes. 2024 Summer Camp
Ollies Kids has partnered with Rainbow Days & Kidventure Summer Camps to host a week of Kidventure Camp.
Rainbow Days work with homeless children in shelters in the Dallas area. For 42 years Rainbow Days has been creating meaningful connections with children In high-risk situations to develop the social and emotional skills they need to build positive futures.
Kidventure was founded In 1994 to provide a rich and meaningful Summer Camp that works to build the self-esteem and self-worth of every child. Kidventure is an active hands-on camp built out of adventure, fun, and making friends.
Camp Rainbow Days
Our 2024 Dallas Summer Camp will be held
Wednesday, August 7th to Friday, August 9th, 2024.
Camp Little Elm: The Rec at the Lakefront
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Activities include camp games, swimming, rock
climbing, arts, STEM & more!
100% of donations go towards camp. Any donation amount is welcome.
$35,000 Goal
Our goal is to provide camp essential Items for 125 kids experiencing homelessness In Dallas to attend and participate successfully in a 3-day summer camp. In addition to camp essentials, campers are provided with life-essential items such as pillows, sleeping bags, toilettes, toys, and much more.

Your donations directly take children out of and into our programs like Rainbow Days, providing summer camps, support, clothing, and essentials for children without a home.
In 2022, Rainbow Days and Kidventure successfully raised over $20,000 to support homeless children by providing essential camp items such as tennis shoes, socks, swimwear, towels, and more. Additionally, campers received a duffle bag filled with supplies, including pillows, sleeping bags, toiletries, and other necessities. Our goal of $35,000 this summer will provide for more children and families in need.
A special Camp Rainbow Days store was established, allowing campers to select items like trendy clothes, watches, toys, games, and accessories. This initiative proved to be profoundly impactful for Camp Rainbow Days, significantly improving the lives of the campers and leaving a positive impression on all involved.
